WRITING: A DESCRIPTION OF A BUILDING

La Sagrada Família is situated in the centre of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí and it was started on 19th of March in 1882 and at the moment it isn't finished. The Sagrada Família is made of stone. From the structure, it is like a gothic church. Inside, it is very big and it is very well decorated too. I've visited the Sagrada Família twice in my life. I like the stairs and its colored windows.

Dear Tània,

One of my friends has started acting quite strangely. She's always looking for money and she sometimes misses school. She's going out with a guy, Steve, who I don't know very well. Steve doesn't speak to me when the three of us are together and he looks at me very angrily.
I don't really know what's happening. What's your advice?

Dear Clare,

If I were you, I'd be very worried about this because unfortunately it's possible that the problem is serious. Are you sure these people are your friends?
Obviously, you should talk to them because if you didn't talk to them soon, the problem would be worse. You must speak honestly to hem and tell them that you are worried.
As for Steve, I think that he's a problem because he probably influences her in many things. You should talk to him clearly before the problem gets bigger.

THE FUTURE

In my opinion our lives will be easier in the future. We'll create a lot fo pollution. Scientists will create super-robots which do the most difficult jobs. The robots will do everything for us. We will have a lot of more time for entertainment or relax.

I think it's important that we colonise space. If we don't live on other planets, we'll have much more pollution in the earth and we won't survive in it. In general I feel very pessimistic about the future. I believe that people will learn to be very responsible and intelligent. The future is in our hands.

TANIA'S ROLLER SKATING PAGE.

Roller Skating has existed since 1915, but its origins are more than 300 years old. It started in London, but now there are clubs in more than one hundred countries. It is the most popular roller skating in the world.

The biggest international Roller Skating's competiton is the World Championship, which started in 1979. Women have competed in the championship since 1981. Roller Skating never became an Olympic sport.

One of my favourite competitors is Tanja Romano. Tanja became world champion in her class in 2003 and 2007. She was the first Italian woman to win a gold medal at the championships.

Angelina Jolie was born 4th June 1975 in California, USA.
When she was five she acted in her first film. She went to a drama school when she was eleven.
She appeared in music videos. Her first big film was the Bone Collector in 1999.
In the same year she won an Oscar. She became famous in Lara Croft (Tomb Raider and other films).
Now Angelina is a film star. She lives in the USA with her children and she helps children's organizations.

Hi Pau.
I'm writing this email from Mallorca. The weather is really hot at the moment but I really like it here because the people are funny and friendly. We're driving around the country and we're stopping in different places.

We've just arrived here in La Palma. In the last few days we've gone to some interesting museums and we've seen some parks. So far I've really enjoyed the food!

Tonight we're staying in a small and beautiful beach near the city of La Palma. Tomorrow we're going to leave the car here and we're going to travel by plane through Catalonia. It should be fun.

A BROCHURE FOR A SPORT AND HEALTH CLUB

Welcome to Best You Sport and Health Club.
Here, near the sea in Can Cun (Mexico), you can relax or do exercise. Our club is the best because the people who work here are friendly, responsible and honest. Hannah Montana and Zack Efron often come here.

At the Best You Club we have three gyms, eight pools... so if you're energetic enough you can do some exercise. Or perhaps you can spend sometime snorkelling in our private beach.

We also have a plastic surgery specialist, so you can change your image. After four or five days at the club, people feel better and more beautiful.

A SURVIVOR'S STORY

WRITING: A SURVIVOR'S STORY

Last summer I was staying in Palamos with my parents, my sister and my aunt. We were in the beach. It was a sunny and beautiful day, but suddenly, the water was moving into the sea. All the people were crazy because they knew that one or two minutes later a big and destructive wave would destroy everything. We were running to our flat when I saw the big wave... It was only 350 meters of me. Fortunately, we could arrive to the flat and we could see a lot of things and houses flooded. We stayed closed in the flat for three days. The car was destroyed, and my aunt Maria died because the wave surprised her when she was driving!

In my picture the colours are green and black because they're very natural and rebellious. I also think that I am a natural person. I'm usually friendly and extroverted. I want to be a different.

In the photo I'm doing roller skating in Cardona. It's my favourite activity because it's really interesting and relaxing. It's a nice sport.
In the other photo I am with my friends in the Draga's park. They are very friendly.
There are other people, places and objects in my picture. You can see that I'm interested in dancing, and I like people who are funny.
